People tend to turn to high-calorie foods like sweets and pizza, to relieve stress; but another factor is the proximity of the kitchen where that kind of food is easily accessible. This is one more of a reason to get rid of all non-healthy foods from your refrigerator and stock-up on healthy foods and snacks. Another factor that has a big impact on weight gain is of course exercise habits. Since the gyms were closed during the pandemic people missed their daily exercises. However, a gym membership is really not a necessity to maintain your weight; plenty of exercises can be done at home, from aerobics, dancing, lifting weights, climbing stairs. The advantage of working at home is that you are free to engage in those activities at any time, be it 1 minute or 5 minutes at a time, it adds-up. Moving your body is key!
